Are you wanting to create a more effective team? Do you find yourself spending too much time on office drama or sorting through communication mix-ups?  Do you dream of a being a part of a team that you can trust? I help organizations build high performing teams through consulting and training services. Here are some examples of trainings that I have done for organizations.

  • Building High Performing Teams – An effective, cohesive, high performing team is often the primary reason for an organization’s success. Teamwork is difficult to achieve but is arguably the number one competitive advantage that impacts the outcomes of an organization.  This training focus’ on learning the elements required to build a high performing team. The training consists of five sections including: building trust; engaging in healthy conflict; achieving commitments; embracing accountability; and attention to results. The training is based on the book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, written by Patrick Lencioni. Each section will include activities, role plays and group exercises to engage the group in the content.
  • Critical Conversations – Effectively handling emotionally charged conversations can be some of the most challenging work we do. Whether they happen between staff and supervisor or between employees we tend to get stuck when we come up against delivering difficult news, responding to disagreements or even trying to get others to do something they don’t want to do. Some of us avoid these conversations in an attempt to keep the peace and others want to tackle the issue head on sometimes appearing aggressive and ineffective. This training focus’ on teaching specific steps to engage in critical conversations that make it safe to talk about almost anything. Participants will learn how to prepare for challenging situations and transform intense emotions into powerful dialogue.
